SweetGems NYC is a vegan and gluten-free artisan baking company specializing in handcrafted muffins and cookies using only unrefined and wholesome ingredients such as almond flour, pure maple syrup, and organic soy-free vegan chocolate chips.

My client’s vision for the SweetGems brand was endearing yet sophisticated, communicating its identity as handcrafted, natural, wholesome, and honest. We decided to incorporate almonds into the design as almond flour is a distinguishing primary ingredient across her products. I design a gemstone-shaped logo with an illustration of almonds, paired with a flowing, endearing font with a handcrafted feel, that works well on brown craft-paper backgrounds and packaging.
